# client.paymentMethods

> Saved Stripe payment methods for a tenant.

Saved Stripe payment methods for a tenant.

The first method in the list with `is_default: true` is the customer's
default payment method.

Reach it as `client.paymentMethods` on a [`QumoClient`](/sdk/reference/client#qumoclient).

### list

```ts theme={null}
list(tenantId: string): Promise<PaymentMethod[]>
```

List saved payment methods (credit/debit cards) for a tenant.

### delete

```ts theme={null}
delete(tenantId: string, methodId: string): Promise<void>
```

Detach (delete) a saved payment method from the Stripe customer.

### createSetupIntent

```ts theme={null}
createSetupIntent(tenantId: string): Promise<{ client_secret: string; publishable_key?: string }>
```

Create a Stripe SetupIntent for adding a new payment method.
Returns the client\_secret (required by Stripe Elements) and optionally the
publishable\_key so the frontend can initialise Stripe.js.

### setDefault

```

Set a payment method as the default for a tenant.
